And more flowers (Day 43)

OK, so another flower...thiss one was spectacular yesterday, but due to all of us having the stomach flu, that picture did not get taken. A day late, but not all that bad.

It is SPRING! (Day 42)

OK, I have been showing a lot of flowers, but it is just that time of year. It is so hot here in the summer taht we enjoy this time of year so much.

House (Day 41)

Not much...a place in the burbs. Nice to live in a place with seriously low cost of housing! It is beyond anythign I would have ever wanted growing up, and the neighbors are great. Too bad it is in Texas! Really, it isn't all that bad...this place is starting to grow on me.

Little Gym (Day 40)

Anna and I take a little gym class...pretty fun, actually, and she loves being on the bars (although this picture does not seem to show it!)

The landmark (Day 39)

I had this idea, and it just didn't work. So..this is what ya'll get. This is a campus sign for where I work, and while it is not a major landmark, it marks my day.

It's that time of year (Day 38)

Spring in Texas. The state flower is the Bluebonnet. Beautiful little blue flower. Every year hundreds of thousands of people take their kids to highways and rural roads to find the best. I didn't have the kids today, so I just have pictures of the flower...gorgeous little thing, isn't it? Hopefully, weather cooperating, you will see the kids in these Saturday!

Out of Time (Day 37)

I just didn't get a good shot in today, and we have so much to do a view from my perch at the computer (where I nurse E most nights, like now.) My favorite pencil holder (from my favorite series of books as a kid!) and the books I am most interested in now (yup, camera and computer program books!) Neither are good pictures, but they do tell you about my life!

Butterfly Center (Day 36)

We were supposed to go to an art festival today...but between a run to the doctor (not so sick E's...just a cold, but with 4 EIs this year, I get concerned) and an unexpected rain shower, we ended up at the Natural Science Museum. We were going to see the Frogs exhibit, and with that ticket we got into the Butterfly Center. Well, A decided that was better, and we never made it to the frogs!

Unfortunately, I had been playing around with my camera, and somehow reset the size of image, so everything was the lowest res possible. Blah!

Texture (Day 35)

OK, I have loved texture this week...not a day goes by I am not thinking of it when shooting my images. So..yet more texture for me!

Thursday, March 22, 2007

Texture (Day 34)

Not too much to say here...just a nice texture.

Texture & the Boy or Pea Day (Day 33)

Our exciting day...we spent the afternoon at the doctors office trying to get a pea out of A's nose (I knew it was there because she asked where the pea went...then stuck her finger up there.) Extracting a vegetable from my child's nasal cavity...not something thing I want to repeat(But I am sure I will.) pictures of the pea up A's nose, but E had them for dinner...and besides being just cute, it was texture!

Texture (Day 32)

OK, so two more...smooth and wet/choppy/???. I don't even know what texture to call the water, but I just liked it too much to pass up.

Monday, March 19, 2007

Texture 1 (Day 31) month! And texture day.

Rolling (Day 30)

This was taking as A rolled down a slope indoors...horrible lighting, but I just liked the motion, even if you can barely tell what it is

Narnia Guide (Day 29)

If you have read the books this will make sense. Or not.

Sunday, March 18, 2007

Banner (Day 28)

I was hoping to find a way to use this at the top of the page, but I can not figure out how. just get to see it as am image.

Thursday (Day 27)

OK, a cheat (Some photoshop work)

A birthday & Tubes (Day 25)

Ethan turned 6 months today. Wow.

And Anna got tubes. Another Wow. And of course, she ate E's cupcake. He said it was OK. This time...

Blue (Day 24)

Well, see...I could not decide. The M&M...they make me blue because I eat to many of them (and I am even more blue when they are gone.) The bird...I just love that piece of glass. And I love Blue Birds. And I was a Blue Bird (the small girl version of Campfire Girl Scouts, only not as cool and they sell candy no one likes as opposed to cookies that must be lased with Cocaine!)

Nature Walk (Day 23)

Anna and Daddy looking at rocks (did I mention Daddy is a geologist!)

Just a nature walk...a heron (we think!), some beautiful flowers blooming, and some other random pictures!

Rodeo (Day 22)

We finnaly, after 8 years, gave in. We live in Texas, as not proud of it as we are sometimes, and we have fought going to the Rodeo as long as we could. Anna wanted a pony ride, and she got a great one (as you can tell by her face!) She had never been on a pony before.

Sunset (Day 21)

Taken from my car (yes, I was driving, and yes, I was at a light, stopped!)

Flowers (Day 17)

Not much to say...just some flowers from our backyard.

Sunday, March 4, 2007

Legos (Day 16)

We built Lego towers today, then knocked them down. This is what we do for fun in our house!

Toy (Day 15)

This used to be my husbands...but since he has not played since I have known him, it now seems to have become our daughters. She loves to play with it, and really, doesn't sound half bad!

Friday, March 2, 2007

Baby lunch (box, that it) (Day 14)

This is a tiny (4x5inch) lunchbox..metal and everything. My daughter loves it, but it is really mine!

Thursday, March 1, 2007

E Laughing (Day 13)

Just giggeling at something Daddy or Anna are doing...endless entertainment in this house!

Rock vessel (Day 12)

Stone vase from somewhere (gift from MIL...I don't remember where she got it.) Helpful, aren't I.
