This was a small spring squall over the Atlantic and the resulting rainbow (faint, but it is there.)

Beach (Day 47)

We finally made it to the beach! The kids loved it...the water was perfect, the sun was great...it was a perfect day! However, I was too afraid of getting sand in my camera, so the pictures were not as good!

We went to Florida to see some family for Passover this year. These are the views from FILs condo...not too bad! Twenty-third floor right on the intercostal (near Ft. Lauderdale.)

OK, so another flower...thiss one was spectacular yesterday, but due to all of us having the stomach flu, that picture did not get taken. A day late, but not all that bad.

It is SPRING! (Day 42)

OK, I have been showing a lot of flowers, but it is just that time of year. It is so hot here in the summer taht we enjoy this time of year so much.

House (Day 41)

Not much...a place in the burbs. Nice to live in a place with seriously low cost of housing! It is beyond anythign I would have ever wanted growing up, and the neighbors are great. Too bad it is in Texas! Really, it isn't all that bad...this place is starting to grow on me.

Little Gym (Day 40)

Anna and I take a little gym class...pretty fun, actually, and she loves being on the bars (although this picture does not seem to show it!)

The landmark (Day 39)

I had this idea, and it just didn't work. So..this is what ya'll get. This is a campus sign for where I work, and while it is not a major landmark, it marks my day.

It's that time of year (Day 38)

Spring in Texas. The state flower is the Bluebonnet. Beautiful little blue flower. Every year hundreds of thousands of people take their kids to highways and rural roads to find the best. I didn't have the kids today, so I just have pictures of the flower...gorgeous little thing, isn't it? Hopefully, weather cooperating, you will see the kids in these Saturday!

Out of Time (Day 37)

I just didn't get a good shot in today, and we have so much to do tonight...so a view from my perch at the computer (where I nurse E most nights, like now.) My favorite pencil holder (from my favorite series of books as a kid!) and the books I am most interested in now (yup, camera and computer program books!) Neither are good pictures, but they do tell you about my life!

Butterfly Center (Day 36)

We were supposed to go to an art festival today...but between a run to the doctor (not so sick E's...just a cold, but with 4 EIs this year, I get concerned) and an unexpected rain shower, we ended up at the Natural Science Museum. We were going to see the Frogs exhibit, and with that ticket we got into the Butterfly Center. Well, A decided that was better, and we never made it to the frogs!

Unfortunately, I had been playing around with my camera, and somehow reset the size of image, so everything was the lowest res possible. Blah!

Texture (Day 35)

OK, I have loved texture this week...not a day goes by I am not thinking of it when shooting my images. So..yet more texture for me!

Texture & the Boy or Pea Day (Day 33)

Our exciting day...we spent the afternoon at the doctors office trying to get a pea out of A's nose (I knew it was there because she asked where the pea went...then stuck her finger up there.) Extracting a vegetable from my child's nasal cavity...not something thing I want to repeat(But I am sure I will.)

So...no pictures of the pea up A's nose, but E had them for dinner...and besides being just cute, it was texture!

OK, so two more...smooth and wet/choppy/???. I don't even know what texture to call the water, but I just liked it too much to pass up.
